I never see other Kidd cosplayers at the cons I go to! It bums me out, man XD If I had a better reference for his colors, I would try to get Kidd’s timeskip done, but it’s running way too close to the con for my taste, so I’m gonna probably have the timeskip done for AB or something. I have to completly remake my pre-timeskip Kidd, as well.
My boyfriend is doing Timeskip Law for Otakon, so I figured having Caesar would make a good set for us to have :3 (You gotta approach him when you are Mama Doflamingo. Dofla scares him so bad, so it’s super funny when he runs into one as Law >D)
I ship ALOT of Op things. So many, many ships~ Kidd/law being my top one. I just adore them.
I need to pull Fem Lucci out of the closet when i have a chance, need to take in the jacket a bit more and some other things. Find where her skirt and stocking went.. Bahh.. It’s been like.. 6 months since I wore it. Its all over the house now. And Smoker is one of my favorite characters, so I was just dying to cosplay him. I might even do beat to fuck smoker cause of Dofla. We’ll just have to see what I can get done.
I’m having the same issue with my Mama Dofla. I really want to make her a new TS skirt, but without any official colors, I dont want to risk picking the wrong fabrics. [I think i saw some TS screencaps of Kidd recently popping up on tumblr, he may have made an appearance in the anime for the alliance]. But yeah, he’s alot to get done in time. I’m really concerned about getting Smokey done in time. So help me if you ever show up as Kidd, it doesnt matter who i’ll be cosplaying at the time. Kidd is getting hugged. [Secretly wants to cosplay Bartolomeo and be a Kidd fanboy].
I’ve never been to AB, but we quit AnimeNEXT this year, it really starting to suck. We’re thinking about going to AB next year instead, since its around the same time frame. So we’ll see about that.

Anime Boston is my home con! It has a really great OP crowd there every year, and the folks that run the photoshoots are simply darling :D Fandoms aside Anime Boston if really well run for such a large convention, and the attendees are generally very kind. I’ve been going for about eight years now, and it remains to be my favorite con. (gosh I feel so old T^T)

Hnnnngggg you should totally cosplay Bartolomeo at some point. I felt the same instantaneous love for him that I felt for Kidd, and I adore that the fandom assumes that he’d probably be all uguu~ over Kidd, because that would be perfect :D I would totally revamp Kidd/ make his time skip in order to get some indulgent shots of him and Bartolomeo being bros :D
